A Kanban Board is a visual management tool that helps you track progress, manage workflows, and stay organized. In our system, there are two separate Kanban Boards:
Task Kanban Board - Displays outstanding tasks and their statuses.
Pipeline Kanban Board - Shows opportunities within your pipeline and their movement through stages.
Both boards help you see the status of your work at a glance, ensuring you never lose track of important tasks or opportunities. This article will explain what a Kanban Board is, how each board works, and why using Kanban improves workflow efficiency.
What is a Kanban Board?
A Kanban Board is a visual representation of a workflow. It consists of columns that represent different stages of a process, and cards that represent individual tasks or opportunities. As work progresses, the cards move across the board from one stage to the next.
This system helps teams:
- Track progress visually without digging through lists.
- Identify bottlenecks quickly by seeing where work is piling up.
- Stay organized with a clear view of what’s pending, in progress, or completed.
In our platform, the Kanban method is used in two areas: tasks and pipeline opportunities. Below, we’ll explain how each works.
