Navigating with Quick Search: A Fast Way to Find Information

The Quick Search feature in Federal Compass allows users to efficiently find relevant opportunities, awards, government agencies, contractors, and contract vehicles/programs.

How to Use Quick Search

  1. Accessing Quick Search

    1. Clicking the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the screen to open the search bar.

                                       
  2. Entering a Search Term

    1. Type in a keyword related to what you’re looking for. You can search for general terms or specific names, such as “Air Force” or “Aircraft”

  3. Refining Your Search 

    1. Below the search bar, you’ll see filter checkboxes that allow you to narrow your search. You can choose to search within:

      1. Opportunities

      2. Awards

      3. Gov’ts

      4. Contractors

      5. Vehicles/Programs

    2. Check or uncheck these options to refine your results.

  4. Running the Search

    1. Click the blue magnifying glass icon on the right side of the search bar to execute your search.

  5. Reviewing the Results

    1. Each result includes a label underneath the title indicating where the information is sourced from.

  6. Navigating to a Result

    1. Click on any result to be taken directly to the corresponding page.

                                 

      The Quick Search feature ensures that you can quickly locate relevant data without having to browse through multiple sections. By using filters and keyword searches, you can efficiently find the information you need in Federal Compass.
