# How to Use Market Explorer

## Market Explorer allows you to conduct in-depth market research to better understand your market’s size, your competitors, how the government buys, and more.

The Market Explorer tool is a tactical solution that provides you with in-depth research into different buying departments, competitor insights, NAICS codes, and other dimensions that could directly impact your team's success.

To access Market Explorer, select **Strategy** from the header menu and then select **Market Explorer**.

Once on the Market Explorer page, all of your different dimensions, measures, and criteria are on the right-hand side of the page. Depending on what you are interested in searching for, you will want to first select your primary dimension. This is the first bar under **Dimensions** on the right-hand side of the page.

To dig deeper into your data, you will most likely want to select a second dimension, this will be the second bar under **Dimensions**.

To get even more granular, you can click on the chart/graph/data that is shown. Once the new window appears, you can select **Explore Data** in the bottom left-hand corner.

Market Explorer is an extremely powerful market research tool for you and your team to utilize!
